Use Compustat, available in WRDS:

  • select North America - Daily, then select Supplemental Short Interest File. Includes mid-month and end-of-month positions. Population coverage includes the New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange, and NASDAQ.

Use Bloomberg, available at Lippincott Library and in Huntsman Hall.

  • Enter the company ticker symbol, hit the yellow <EQUITY> key, then type SI and hit <GO>.
    • For example, IBM <EQUITY> SI <GO>.
  • The screen will initially load with a graph, and you can Page Down to find a data table.

Use NASDAQ.com to look up a maximum of 25 companies at a time.
