You can access WRDS by visiting the WRDS homepage. Under Connect to WRDS, submit your email address. You will receive a link for limited-time access; you can request a new WRDS day pass when it expires.

If you plan to use WRDS more regularly, you can register for an account. From the WRDS homepage, select the Register link in the upper right-hand corner. Fill in the requested information, including name, email address, institution, affiliation with institution, desired username, etc.

• Wharton users must select "Wharton School" from the subscriber drop down and must use an @wharton.upenn.edu email address on the form.
• Other Penn users must select "University of Pennsylvania" from the subscriber drop down and must use an @upenn.edu email address on the form. 

To complete the registration, you must agree to the WRDS Terms of Use. WRDS is not available to students over the summer, with the exception of doctoral/PhD students.
