At Holman Biotech Commons, we typically use Covidence software during the systematic review process.  Covidence has the time-saving feature of removing duplicates or “deduplicating” when importing references in XML format, PubMed format or RIS text format.  It also provides a summary page that shows the number of duplications that were removed in the process.  More information on Covidence can be found in both our Systematic Review LibGuide and our Covidence LibGuide.
