The David Rittenhouse Orrery is an 18th century instrument designed to map the movements of the solar system. The Orrery is currently housed behind the Class of 1978 Pavilion in the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts on the 6th floor of the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center.
