I work at a library or archives. How do I contribute my finding aids to the Philadelphia Area Archives Research Portal (PAARP)?
Answer
Most non-profit institutions in the greater Philadelphia region are eligible to contribute finding aids to the Philadelphia Area Archival Research Portal (PAARP). You do not need to be a member of the Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries (PACSCL), the website’s sponsor, or affiliated with University of Pennsylvania, the website’s developer.
You do, however, need to have your finding aids available in an EAD format. If you write your finding aids in Archivists’ Toolkit or ArchivesSpace, they will work in the site.
