Q. How do I request a book or journal article that is in the high density storage facility, LIBRA?

Answer

To get a book or journal article from LIBRA, locate the record for the item in Franklin, the Library catalog. Login to Franklin on the upper right, then scroll down in the record to view your request options.Select "Request", and designate your preferred circulation desk for pick-up.

For journal articles, navigate to the journal in question, select the individual journal volume and issue in question, then select Request.

Non-Penn Patrons
Patrons without borrowing privileges may still request materials from Storage. Use the Storage - Request Article Retrieval form or the Storage - Request Book/Recording/Video Retrieval form on the Forms Request Library Services web page, or fill out a paper request form at any Library circulation desk. Books and journal volumes will be delivered to the library of your choice for consultation. Paper copies of articles for you to keep will also be delivered to the library of your choice. Electronic delivery is not available to patrons without borrowing privileges.
