What is Swank Digital Campus?

Answer

Swank Digital Campus is a large streaming platform available at universities that the Penn Libraries make available so that the university community has access to feature films, documentaries, international films, and TV show episodes that are assigned in courses.

Films are available for a one-year period. Each film that is currently licensed has a record in the library catalog.

Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. is a non-theatrical film distributor and licensor, privately owned by the Swank family since the 1930s when the company was started as a "portable projection service," and it represents many major Hollywood studios for the U.S. college and university market. It is the same company behind the service Resident Direct which is available to students who live in on-campus residence halls.
