Many current, popular magazines are available in full text online through the database EBSCO Masterfile Premier. Also the large database Franklin Articles+ covers popular magazines titles and has a useful magazine article content limit.

Search the Franklin Catalog or PennText by journal title for information about library holdings of other popular journals.

Look at the American Historical Periodicals research guide and the Historic International Periodicals guide for assistance with finding popular magazines from these periods.

Current issues of many popular magazines are shelved in the in Current Periodicals on the fourth floor of the Van Pelt Library. Older issues are shelved at the following call numbers:

  • American - AP2
  • British - AP4
  • French - AP20
