Interlibrary Loan also called Resource Sharing is a service through which library materials, unavailable from Penn or Penn Libraries may be requested and obtained from other libraries for use by Penn students, faculty, and staff.

Penn libraries uses several services and networks to source materials for our patrons, including BorrowDirect and EZBorrow, WorldShare, RapidR, Docline and direct requesting to outside libraries. Interlibrary loan staff are experts in finding materials in libraries across the world.

Items borrowed through this service are subject to policies here: https://guides.library.upenn.edu/resourcesharing
