There are several ways to pay fines.

Pay in person:

At the Van Pelt Library Circulation Desk, you may pay by cash, check, or credit card. Visa and MasterCard are accepted Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, or up to 30 minutes before closing. The library cannot accept card payments via phone.

Pay by mail:

Check information:

Checks must be payable to "The University of Pennsylvania".

Please note your PennCard ID number and the words "Library fines" on the memo line of the check so that we can be sure to credit the correct account.

Note: Library fines and fees of $50 or more are transferred to a student's Bursar account. For more information, please consult the relevant circulation department.
