The full-text of Harvard Business Review and some Harvard Business Review Digital Articles are available via Business Source Complete. Use this link to search both options simultaneously.

Recent issues of the print edition of HBR are available at Lippincott Library in the Current Periodicals area across from the Information Desk.

Harvard Business School cases are not available through the library; they do not have a library subscription model for cases.

Full-time MBAs, Wharton doctoral students and Wharton TAs can obtain Harvard Business School cases in support of coursework. Executive MBA students should contact their class manager. Others in the Penn community can order HBS cases for a discounted fee. Contact the Wharton IDEA Courseware Team at courseware@wharton.upenn.edu with the following information:

  • Subject line: Case request
  • Message should include:
    • requestor's name
    • title and number of the course the case is needed for (or professor who assigned the case)
    • title of the case and the product number.

HBS cases can also be ordered directly from the Harvard Business Review Store. To find other case studies, try the alternatives listed at Where can I find case studies?
