Investor research (find angel investors):

• CB Insights
  • Select Advanced Filters > Investors.
  • Expand the Investor Attributes menu.
  • For Investor Type, select Angel Investor (Group) and Angel Investor (Individual)
     
• Preqin
  • In the light blue ribbon at the top of the page, select Go Back to Preqin Classic.
  • Select Preqin Data > Private Equity.
  • Select Venture Deals > Search By > Advanced Search.
  • Select Deal Specifics > Stage > Angel.
     
• PitchBook (see access details)
  • From the sidebar, select Investors > Investors.
  • Select Investor Types.
  • Choose Angel Group and/or Angel (individual).
     
• Use LSEG Workspace (formerly Refinitiv) (see access details).
  • Type PESCREENER in the top search box to get to the Private Equity Screener app.
  • Using the left menu, first set the Entity Type under Universe to Firm.
  • Next, set the Required Filters of Deal Type and Investment Date.
  • Last, click into the Add Filter box and search for Firm Type. In the resulting menu, select that you want to Include the following types: Angel Group and Individuals. Hit the yellow Done button to complete the screen.
