Use these resources from The World Bank:
- Migration and Remittances webpage, for data on bilateral flows from many countries
- Remittance Prices Worldwide
Use UNCTADstat for remittances back to 1980. Click on Data Center, then expand External financial resources and click Migrants' remittances.
Use Data Planet to retrieve data from The World Bank's World Development Indicators:
- Browse by Source -- World Bank -- World Development Indicators -- Economic Policy and Debt
- Navigate to the Socioeconomic Indicator box, click the magnifying glass icon, and type remittances into the search box. Select either Personal remittances, paid or Personal remittances, received.
- Select Year(s)
- Select Country/ies
You can find some country-specific information on remittances using the EIU's Country Commerce profiles.
Look at the Migration Policy Institute's Data Hub.
For remittances specific to the Western Hemisphere, use the Inter-American Development Bank.
