When working with an external client (e.g. internship, ASP, FAP, ISP, PBG, SCVC, WFC, or other academic consulting project) please keep in mind that our subscription-based resources are strictly for educational use. The contracts that we sign with our vendors explicitly state that the information from these resources may only be used to support academic work. You may use them while doing ancillary research for academic consulting projects, but your project contacts should not be given access to data from these proprietary resources.

  • You may only excerpt minor passages of resources in your written communications with your project contacts. Please do not print or email entire reports, articles, chapters, etc. and share them with your project contacts.
  • The username and passwords used for library databases (including your PennKey) should not be given to anyone.
  • You should not upload documents found in our licensed resources into a generative AI product, like ChatGPT.
  • Remember to properly cite all sources consulted in your research.
