For the year founded, use:

• PitchBook - Year Founded appears in the General Information section of a company's profile. Screen for companies founded in a specific year or range of years by selecting Companies from the left-hand search menu, then Other Criteria.
• Capital IQ - From a company's profile, go to the Tearsheet. Year Founded is in top left section of the page. Screen for companies founded in a specific year or range of years by selecting Screening, then Company Screening then:
  • Company Statistics from the Company Details box.
  • Year Founded from the list.
• Corporate Affiliations data through Nexis Uni. Select Company Dossier from the menu and search for the company. The founding year will appear at the beginning of the Overview.
