Use SDC, a system available in Lippincott Library or on Huntsman Lab Machines.

  • Use Mergers & Acquisitions and select Joint Ventures.


Search within the Zephyr database.

  • Select Zephyr Advanced.
  • Then, select Deal types & methods of payment-->Deal type-->Joint-venture.


Use Orbis

  • Select M&A, then Mergers and acquisition deals
  • Under Deal type, select Joint-venture

Use Thomson ONE.

  • Click on Screening & Analysis -- Deals & League Tables -- M&A -- Quick Search.
  • In the Deal Criteria box, click on the magnifying glass icon next to Acquisition Technique and search for "joint".
  • Add Joint Venture and click on OK.
  • Add other criteria as desired, then click View Results.

Note: Thomson ONE only works using Internet Explorer.

Use Capital IQ.

  • Mouse over Screening and click on Transactions.
  • Under M&A Details, click on Features and select Creation of Joint Venture
  • Click on Add Criteria
  • Select and add other criteria as desired
  • Click on View Results.
