Use LSEG Workspace (formerly Refinitiv) to retrieve a company tree by typing the company name or ticker symbol in the search bar, followed by the word TREE (e.g. Exxon TREE). Alternatively:

  • From a company's Overview page, click the Open Company Tree Structure icon to the right of the company's name
  • Filter and customize the display as desired. Grid View, Company Tree View, and Geographic View are available.
  • The tree can be exported as an Excel file.

Use Capital IQ (see access details).

  • Search by company by name.
  • Scroll to Investments and select Corporate Tree.

From a company's record in Hoovers, select Corporate Family. Data is downloadable to Excel.

Search Nexis Dossier:

  • Search for a company by name and open the company's Dossier Report
  • Use the left-side menu to open a Corporate Hierarchy. PDF and Word document download formats are available.

For U.S. and Canadian businesses, also search in Data Axle Reference Solutions.
