  • Web of Science: You can get extracts from the Web of Science web interface. To download bibliographic data: Perform a Documents search. Select relevant results. Choose an Export method. Depending on the format and fields you choose to export, you can download as many as 500 or 1000 records at one time.
  • Scopus: In addition to the Scopus web interface, you can use Scopus and related APIs. Request your API key and review documentation for programmatic access to content you can view through the web interface.
  • OpenAlex: This resource provides bibliographic data via API, in a downloadable database snapshot, and through a limited web interface. Base access is free and open, although a paid tier can increase the API rate limit. Review the documentation for details, including data sources.
