- Please determine whether or not an item is checked out before placing a request. Items may not be recalled for ILL. Search the Duke Library Catalog.
- The Ford Library is a small, high-use collection and ILL requests for eligible items are filled on a case-by-case basis. We may need to deny a request based on local circulation frequency, item condition, or other factors.
- Ford Library cannot fill ILL requests for reference books, serial issues, Closed Reserve books, current year monographs, diskettes, CD-ROMs, audiobooks, or other AV media.
- ILL delivery of photocopied sections within Fair Use restrictions is provided for a minimum fee of $6.00
- We regret that we cannot fill international book ILL requests.
- Our minimum book ILL fee is $10.00, payable by check.
- We loan free of charge to TRLN member libraries.
- Ford Library accepts ILL requests via OCLC-ILL, or on original ALA-ILL forms. Faxed requests must include a telephone number, and complete bibliographic information.
- Loaned books are subject to recall at any time.
