Question: Where can I find the institutional holdings of various stocks?
Answer: Go to Thomson One Banker (TOB)
For current holdings
Search for the company you want
Click on the Ownership folder (Company Analysis tab), and select your report

For current and historic holdings
Click on Ownership tab
Select the ownership report you want :-
- To view the Top Ten Investing Firms or Funds, Select Quick Reports - Ownership Summary, and Cursor down to Top Ten Investors
- To view historical ownership, Choose Holders Momentum reports, or Batch Reporting (and select Period is search options)

Use Bloomberg (available in the Eddie Davies Library and Precinct Library)
Try Bloomberg functions OWN or PHDC and select institutional holders.

Use Orbis.
Type in your company name. Choose your company. Click on Company Report. Click on Shareholders. Also click on Graphs.
Note. You can also use FAME for UK data

Obtaining historical ownership data on Orbis (or FAME) is possible but a little tricky. See Orbis ownership tips

For historical ownership on US stocks, go to WRDS.
Choose Thomson Financial then Institutional 13f Holdings.
