| Answer: | RefWorks is a web-based bibliography and database manager. RefWorks allows users to create personal citation databases by importing references from online databases and library catalogs. RefWorks also offers automatic formatting of citations and reference lists in Microsoft Word documents.
RefWorks is similar in function to such software products as EndNote, Reference Manager, and ProCite. It differs in that RefWorks personal databases are stored on the RefWorks server and can be accessed through the Penn Libraries institutional account from anywhere on the Internet.
