The majority of films available through the Penn Libraries are in Franklin, the Library catalog. If you're interested in searching or browsing by director, actor, plot synopsis, genre, or country of production, the library provides a separate catalog of our video and DVD holdings called VCat.
Unlike books, films are not located in open stacks. Please write down the name and call number of your film, then bring it to the location where the film is stored. In most cases, that will be the Van Pelt Circulation Desk. A staff member will then retrieve the film for checkout.
The Penn Libraries film collection also includes streaming video options.
