We recommend that you try requesting the item using BorrowDirect+ rather than recalling the item. This is often quicker and more convenient than recalling the book from another patron.

If you have already attempted to request the item via BorrowDirect+EZ-Borrow, or the Interlibrary Loan Request Book link on the BorrowDirect+ page, and there is no available copy of the item from another library, please contact the Van Pelt Circulation Desk at 215-898-7566. Books from the Van Pelt Bestsellers collection are not eligible for recall.

The current borrower will be notified by email, and will have 10 days to finish with and return the book or be subject to fines. Once the patron returns the item, you will be notified that the book is available for you to pick up. Library materials are subject to recall at any time.
