For Moody's ratings, use Moody's Analytics. Hold your cursor over Research & Ratings and choose Ratings - Look up a Rating.
To find upgrades/downgrades of Moody's-rated bonds, use Moody's Analytics. Search for the words upgrade downgrade. Change the date range as needed.
For Morningstar credit ratings, use the Bonds tab from any company record in Morningstar Investment Research Center.
Use Bloomberg, available in Lippincott Library and in Huntsman Hall. Type the ticker symbol of the company you want, hit the yellow CORP key, then type CRPR and hit GO. Bonds are listed by Bloomberg composite ratings. To see Moody's, S&P and Fitch ratings, click on individual bond issues and choose DES from the menu. You can find historical bond ratings for particular issues.
S&P ratings are also available via WRDS -- log in with your Wharton username and password, and choose Compustat - Capital IQ then Capital IQ then Credit Ratings.
Go to the database Osiris. Search for your company, then select Ratings from the right-hand menu on the company record to see Moody's, S&P, Fitch and Morningstar ratings.
Or use Dow Jones Factiva. Click on Search, then Search Builder. In the Free Text box, type rst=moodpr and (upgrade or downgrade) and change the Date Range to suit your needs.
