Use OECD iLibrary

  • Click on the Catalogue tab, then click Statistics.
  • Under Statistical Series select OECD International Direct Investment Statistics.
  • Direct Investment by Country, Direct Investment by Sector, and Summary Tables are available.

From OECD iLibrary, access the OECD International Direct Investment Statistics database:

  • Click on the Catalogue tab, then click Statistics.
  • Under Databases select OECD International Direct Investment Statistics. Or, to use OECD.Stat extract data from across datasets, click the Extract Data from Across Datasets button. 

Sage Data also offers the OECD's data on foreign direct investment. Use Sage Data to combine data on multiple countries and create custom visualizations of the OECD's data.

  • Drill down through Browse by Subject - International - OECD - OECD Factbook+.
  • Select Globalization - Foreign Direct Investment.
  • Select one or more countries and indicators of interest.

Go to IMF eLibrary Data.

  • Click on Data Topics.
  • Under External Sector select Coordinated Direct Investment Survey.
  • Click on All Tables and select data sets.
  • Bilateral data, country by country, is available in IMF eLibrary Data under Data Topics --> External Sector --> Coordinated Direct Investment Survey --> Data by Indicator.
