Go to Standard & Poor's Net Advantage
Click on the Industries tab, then use the Industry Surveys drop-down menu to select either Telecommunications: Wireless or Telecommunications: Wireline
Another great resource, especially for international coverage, is BMI Research.
Scroll over Service in the top toolbar, then select Telecommunications. On the next page, you can select a Geography (or more) of interest, and select between the Daily Views, Reports & Strategic Content, and Data & Forecasting menus.
Also search the following databases:
IDC - after running your keyword search, set the drop-down menu to Search In My Research.
Gartner - note that Gartner's log-in process has changed.
Go to the Digital Technology and Telecommunications Research Guide
Check out the Federal Communications Commission's Mobile Wireless Competition Report, produced annually.
For statistics on telecommunications worldwide, take a look at the free statistics on the World Telecommunication Indicators Database - International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
For the complete database, come to Lippincott Library and log on to the ITU World Telecommunication database located on machine 8C.
